This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains THE LEGAL GAZETTE's policies regarding refunds, cancellations, and payment disputes for Services provided through wishinpixels.app (the "Platform"). By making a purchase or subscription through the Platform, you agree to this Policy.
Important: All payments are processed through THE LEGAL GAZETTE's verified Razorpay merchant account. THE LEGAL GAZETTE has sole and exclusive authority to approve or deny refund requests in accordance with this Policy and applicable consumer protection laws.
2. Payment Processing Authority

3. Refund Eligibility
3.1 Eligible Refund Scenarios
Refunds may be granted in the following circumstances:
- Technical Errors: If you were charged due to a technical error, system malfunction, or processing error on our part
- Duplicate Charges: If you were charged multiple times for the same service or subscription
- Service Unavailability: If the Platform or purchased Services were unavailable for an extended period due to our technical failures (not including scheduled maintenance)
- Unauthorized Charges: If charges were made without your authorization (subject to verification and fraud investigation)
- Service Non-Delivery: If we failed to provide the Services you purchased despite payment being processed
- Material Misrepresentation: If the Services materially differ from their description on the Platform
- Billing Errors: If there was an error in the amount charged compared to the displayed price
3.2 Non-Eligible Refund Scenarios
Refunds will generally NOT be granted for:
- Change of Mind: General dissatisfaction or change of preference after purchase
- User Error: Mistakes in creating content, incorrect information entered, or misunderstanding of Platform features
- Partial Use: Services already consumed, utilized, or partially used
- Account Suspension: Termination or suspension due to violation of our Terms of Service
- Free Trial Conversion: Automatic conversion from free trial to paid subscription (unless canceled before trial end)
- Third-Party Issues: Problems with third-party payment methods, banks, or internet connectivity
- Content Deletion: Accidental deletion of your own content or microsites
- Expired Subscriptions: Subscriptions that have already expired or completed their term
- Feature Expectations: Services that don't meet your subjective expectations but function as described
3.3 Pro-Rated Refunds
For annual or long-term subscriptions, we may offer pro-rated refunds at our discretion, calculated based on the unused portion of your subscription period, minus:
- A reasonable administrative processing fee
- Applicable transaction and payment gateway fees
- The value of Services already consumed
Pro-rated refunds are not guaranteed and are subject to evaluation on a case-by-case basis.
4. Refund Request Process
4.1 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, follow these steps:

- Include the transaction ID, payment date, and amount charged
- Clearly explain the reason for your refund request

4.2 Request Timeline
Refund requests must be submitted within:
- 7 days for one-time purchases or service-related issues
- 14 days for subscription billing errors or duplicate charges
- 30 days for unauthorized transactions (subject to fraud investigation)
Requests submitted after these timeframes may not be eligible for refund, except where required by applicable law.
4.3 Review and Decision
Upon receipt of your refund request:
- We will acknowledge receipt within 48-72 business hours
- Our billing team will investigate your request and review supporting documentation
- We may contact you for additional information or clarification
- A decision will be communicated within 7-14 business days
- All refund decisions are made at THE LEGAL GAZETTE's sole discretion, subject to applicable consumer protection laws
4.4 Refund Approval and Processing
If your refund request is approved:

- Refunds are processed through the same Razorpay merchant account used for the original transaction
- Funds will be credited to your original payment method
- Processing time depends on your bank or payment provider (typically 5-10 business days)
4.5 Partial Refunds
We reserve the right to issue partial refunds where appropriate, such as:
- Pro-rated refunds for unused subscription periods
- Refunds minus processing fees and transaction costs
- Refunds reflecting actual damages or service deficiencies
- Refunds adjusted for Services already consumed or utilized
5. Subscription Cancellation
5.1 How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time through:
- Your account settings on the Platform

5.2 Cancellation Effective Date
When you cancel a subscription:
- The cancellation will be effective at the end of your current billing period
- You will retain access to paid features until the end of the paid period
- No further charges will be made after the current period expires
- You will receive confirmation of cancellation via email
5.3 No Refunds for Cancellations
Important: Canceling your subscription does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period unless:
- There was a billing error
- You qualify under an eligible refund scenario (Section 3.1)
- Required by applicable consumer protection laws
5.4 Reactivation
You may reactivate a canceled subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon reactivation, you will be charged the then-current subscription rate.
6. Chargebacks and Disputes
6.1 Contact Us First
We strongly encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your financial institution. Most payment issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication with our billing team.
6.2 Chargeback Consequences
If you initiate a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us:
- Your account may be immediately suspended or terminated
- Access to all Services will be revoked
- You may be held liable for chargeback fees (typically ₹500-₹2,000 per chargeback)
- We may pursue legal action to recover losses and costs
- You may be permanently banned from using the Platform
6.3 Dispute Resolution with Razorpay
If a dispute cannot be resolved directly with THE LEGAL GAZETTE, you may escalate the matter to Razorpay's dispute resolution process in accordance with Razorpay's policies. We will cooperate fully with Razorpay's investigation and provide all necessary documentation.
6.4 Fraudulent Chargebacks
Initiating chargebacks for Services you have received and utilized may constitute fraud. We reserve the right to:
- Report fraudulent chargebacks to relevant authorities
- Share information with payment processors and fraud prevention networks
- Pursue legal remedies for damages and costs incurred
7. Free Trials and Promotional Offers
7.1 Free Trial Terms
Free trials are subject to the following conditions:
- Valid payment method required to start free trial
- Automatic conversion to paid subscription at trial end unless canceled
- Standard subscription rate applies after trial period
- One free trial per user/account (based on email, payment method, or device)
- We reserve the right to verify eligibility and prevent abuse
7.2 Canceling Free Trials
To avoid charges, you must cancel your free trial before the trial period ends. Cancel through:

7.3 Promotional Pricing
Promotional discounts and special offers:
- Are valid for the specified promotional period only
- Standard pricing applies after promotional period ends
- Cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated

8. Failed Payments and Account Access
8.1 Payment Failures
If a recurring payment fails:
- We will notify you via email
- We may attempt to reprocess the payment
- Your access to paid Services may be suspended after repeated failures
- You are responsible for updating payment information
8.2 Account Suspension
If payment issues are not resolved:
- Your account may be downgraded to free tier
- Access to premium features will be restricted
- Your content will be preserved but may have limited functionality
- Account may be permanently deleted after extended non-payment (with prior notice)
8.3 Late Fees
We do not currently charge late fees for failed payments, but we reserve the right to implement such charges with reasonable notice.
9. Taxes and Additional Charges
All prices displayed on the Platform are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Goods and Services Tax (GST) and other applicable taxes will be added to your invoice as required by Indian law.
Refunds, where approved, will be processed for the full amount paid, including taxes. However, we cannot refund transaction or processing fees charged by third-party payment processors.
10. Consumer Rights
This Policy complies with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Nothing in this Policy limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
If you are located in a jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection rights (such as the EEA under GDPR, or specific Indian state consumer laws), those rights supersede any conflicting provisions in this Policy.
